Riley Horton Delivers Best Effort of Season
West Forsyth was led to victory by Riley Horton, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Horton threw for 197 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 81 yards on only eight carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August.
The victory was the fourth in a row for West Forsyth, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Horton and West Forsyth will welcome R.J. Reynolds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Bryce Baker was instrumental in extending East Forsyth's winning streak to eight on Friday. Baker did his part (and then some), throwing for 259 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground for the 'W'.
If the past is any indication, Baker could be in store for another big game when he takes on Glenn on Thursday. Baker threw for 276 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.8 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground the last time he and the Bobcats duked it out back in October of 2023.

CJ Blevins produced his most outstanding game to date while leading West Forsyth to the win on Friday. Blevins rushed for 165 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played.
On the season, Blevins has averaged 17.4 receiving yards per game.
