The Moore Haven Terriers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Glades Day Gators at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Glades Day took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Moore Haven, who comes in off a win.
Moore Haven scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Marco Island Academy, posting a 58-12 win at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Moore Haven has managed all season.
Moore Haven found their leader in underclassman Sa'Nyree Myers, who scored 36 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Myers has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Akeelah Ling, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Glades Day, who are still winless after their seventh contest. They were the victim of a rough 32-11 defeat at the hands of Clewiston last Tuesday.
The win makes it two in a row for Moore Haven and bumps their season record up to 6-8. As for Glades Day, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-7.
Everything came up roses for Moore Haven against Glades Day in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 57-18 victory. With Moore Haven ahead 40-9 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
