The Cross Plains Buffaloes scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They really took it to Moran for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-22 victory at home. With Cross Plains ahead 37-11 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Despite the loss, Moran saw an underclassman step up: Garrett Hamilton scored six points along with five rebounds and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Murk, who scored six points.
Cross Plains pushed their record up to 10-11 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Moran, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Cross Plains will head out on the road to face off against Eula at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Eula knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully Cross Plains likes a good challenge.
