Blue Valley Northwest won against Blue Valley North on Tuesday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Huskies walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Gardner-Edgerton Trailblazers. Winning may never get old, but the Huskies sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Blue Valley Northwest's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Gardner-Edgerton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blue Valley Northwest will head out to face off against Blue Springs South at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gardner-Edgerton, they will venture away from home to square off against Shawnee Mission North on Monday.
