The Osage Indians will play host again and welcome the Eldon Mustangs, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Thursday, Osage earned a 60-50 win over Linn. The victory was just what Osage needed coming off of a 61-31 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Eldon was able to grind out a solid victory over Blair Oaks on Thursday, taking the game 64-54. Given Eldon's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 124th, while Blair Oaks is ranked 319th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Sydney Halderman, who scored 23 points along with eight assists and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last three games she's played. Delaney Mcghay was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Osage is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Eldon, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-9.
