Slidell came out on top against Salmen on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run third inning. The Tigers blew past the Spartans 15-0. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Slidell's fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-12. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Salmen, they dropped their record down to 0-19 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Slidell will welcome Chalmette at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Salmen, they will be playing at home against Carver Collegiate Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
