The Northern Adirondack Bobcats had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Seton Catholic Central 49-33 on Saturday. Northern Adirondack pushed the score to 47-23 by the end of the third, a deficit Seton Catholic Central cut but never quite recovered from.
Despite the loss, Seton Catholic Central had strong showings from Grace Trombley, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds, and Gabriella Conti, who scored 13 points along with two steals. That was a full 39.4% of Seton Catholic Central's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Northern Adirondack's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10. As for Seton Catholic Central, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northern Adirondack will take on Saranac Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Seton Catholic Central, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Boquet Valley at 6:30 p.m. on February 13th. Hopefully Boquet Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 last Tuesday.
