George School entered their tilt with Academy of the New Church on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They secured a 78-72 W over the Academy of the New Church Lions. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by exactly six points.

Academy of the New Church lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Dior Carter, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance gave Carter a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Smith, who went 6 of 8 en route to 15 points and five rebounds.

George School has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Academy of the New Church, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-9.
