Brian Williams Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Surry Central got the W thanks in part to Brian Williams playing the best football he has all season. Williams picked up 169 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Forbush had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Williams it was a similar story. When Williams last faced the Falcons back in October of 2023, he rushed for 64 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 37 receiving yards.
