They took a 43-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Dreyfoos School of the Arts. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Royal Palm Beach of the 43-29 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture last Thursday.
Dreyfoos School of the Arts' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Guilbrhea Pacheco, who scored 11 points along with three steals. It was the first time this season that Pacheco grabbed two or more steals. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Maldonado, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Royal Palm Beach has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.
Royal Palm Beach and the Falcons will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
