The Hillcrest Christian Cougars can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They blew past Franklin Academy 59-35. Winning may never get old, but Hillcrest Christian sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Severe McNeary was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points. Another player making a difference was Ethan Battle, who scored ten points.
Hillcrest Christian's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-6. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.33 points. As for Franklin Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Coincidentally, Hillcrest Christian and Franklin Academy will both be playing Prairie View Academy the next time they take the court. Hillcrest Christian will host Prairie View Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Franklin Academy will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
