South River scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Old Mill, 36-35. At the time, the Patriots were ranked 16th in the state, while the Seahawks were 39th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to South River, who took down 16th ranked Old Mill, 36-35.
Chesapeake's dynamic duo of Brandon Blanchard and Aaron Terry proved tough for North County to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Blanchard threw for 107 yards and two touchdowns and Terry had 58 yards receiving. Tyler Davis helped Chesapeake's passing attack out by catching one ball for 42 yards.
Deandre Gross was the most productive running back in Anne Arundel County this week. He ran for 78 yards on seven carries as Southern beat the Knights. Malique Pratt also contributed to the rushing game with 54 yards on the ground.
Chesapeake's Blanchard and Terry have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Blanchard has thrown for 1289 yards this season, while Terry, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 45 catches for 727 yards. The Bulldogs' Dejuan Neal leads the league in rushing yards with 1108.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Arundel takes on Meade. At the moment, the Wildcats are in first, while the Mustangs are in fourth.

Arundel extended the longest winning streak in Anne Arundel County this week by beating Russell Meyers' team, 35-8. The victory was the 10th in a row for the Wildcats.
