St. Mary dropped their record down to 7-6 on Saturday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 16-0 to the Pioneer Valley Regional Panthers. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in June of 2018.

As for Pioneer Valley Regional, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 20-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average this season.

For Pioneer Valley Regional's part, Jackson Glazier made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Glazier has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, earning one RBI and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Braeden Tsipenyuk, who went 2-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Ethan Quinn was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.
