D.H. Conley is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will head out on the road to challenge White Oak at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (D.H. Conley has four straight victories, White Oak has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
If D.H. Conley beats White Oak with four runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Vikings came out on top against First Flight by a score of 4-0 on Saturday.
D.H. Conley gave Conner Berry the start and clearly made the right call: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Berry has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season. Caleb Case relieved him and did a solid job, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

D.H. Conley hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in three consecutive matchups.
Northside - Jacksonville hit White Oak with a five-run sixth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings came up short against the Monarchs, falling 8-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.
Joshua Criner put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. Criner was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double. Those hits marked the first that he has got this season.
White Oak's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for D.H. Conley, their record is now 9-1.
