Wickenburg's tournament run continued when they took on Tempe  on Friday. Wickenburg walked away with  a   9-5  victory over Tempe. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Wranglers.

 Wickenburg was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .387. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .375 or higher in five consecutive  contests.
Wickenburg's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Tempe, they now  have a losing record of 2-3.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wickenburg will square off against Kingman Academy at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday. As for Tempe, they will face off against Glendale at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Glendale has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.8  runs per game on average), something Tempe will no doubt try to take advantage of.
