Lakeside got themselves on the board against Westside on Monday, but Westside never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 25-0 margin over the Patriots. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season.

The critical scores for Lakeside came from Chloe Collins, Ellie Clemente, Callie Hain, and Halle Carr.

Lakeside didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hain and Ella Carlton. Hain got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Lakeside is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Westside, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lakeside will challenge rival Greenbrier at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Panthers 7.2, the Wolfpack 6.4) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Westside is set to take on their familiar foe Grovetown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
