The Shaker Bison will head out on the road to face off against the Kingston Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
The third road contest was the charm for Shaker, as they earned their first road win of the season. They enjoyed a cozy 58-41 victory over Ballston Spa on Tuesday.
Lexi Carrington had an outrageously good game as she scored 26 points along with six steals. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Hoblock, who scored eight points along with 13 rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Kingston put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Saugerties, posting a 65-32 win at home. Considering Kingston has won five matchups by more than 28 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Shaker has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Kingston, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
