The Brandywine Heights Area Bullets's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 43-33 win over Tulpehocken. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Brandywine Heights Area also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Tulpehocken lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lucas Werner, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Schwalm, who scored nine points.
Brandywine Heights Area's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Tulpehocken, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brandywine Heights Area won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pequea Valley at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. Tulpehocken will be home for the holidays to greet Conrad Weiser at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Conrad Weiser presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Tulpehocken in Pennsylvania (Conrad Weiser is ranked 251st, while Tulpehocken is ranked 667th).
