The Timpanogos Timberwolves's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 77-51 margin over Uintah. The win was just what Timpanogos needed coming off of a 71-51 defeat in their prior match.
Timpanogos' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josh Graf, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Graf continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Steven LaPray, who scored 15 points along with five steals.
Timpanogos' win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Uintah, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-10.
Timpanogos will challenge Layton Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Layton Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 18 matchups. As for Uintah, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Payson at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Payson is ranked 74th, while Uintah is ranked 81st).
