Meanwhile, Sarasota waltzed into their game on Saturday with seven straight wins but they left with eight. They came out on top against Palmetto Ridge by a score of 65-54.
Lakewood Ranch has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Sarasota, their win bumped their record up to 17-2.
