After starting their season with two straight games on the road, Northview is finally coming home. They will be defending their home-fieldthey go up against the Glendora Tartans  at 7:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Both  are strolling into their  matchups after big wins in their previous games.
 Northview's defense heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Thursday. They breezed by South Hills on the road  to the tune of  36-0. Given the Vikings' advantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings  (they are ranked 167th, while the Huskies are ranked 390th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
  Keanu Tauvao had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 156 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. The team also got some help courtesy of  Isaiah Lucero, who picked up 143 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Northview was moving up and down the field and  finished the game with 448  total yards. That's the most  total yards they've posted since  back in September of 2023.

 Meanwhile,  after only three  points in their last  game, Glendora made sure to put some  points up on the board against Jurupa Hills  on Friday. Glendora was the clear victor by  a  46-23 margin over Jurupa Hills. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  victory the Tartans have posted  since September 7, 2023.
 Northview's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Glendora,  the  victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
