Parkland is a perfect 6-0 against Louis E. Dieruff since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Trojans will take on the Huskies at 4:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
Parkland was handed a six-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over Easton Area. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Rovers: they've now won seven in a row.

Parkland got a great performance from Steven Sepko as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. What's more, Sepko posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.
At the plate, Parkland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Dobil, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Tsubasa Magota was another, earning one run and three stolen bases.
Meanwhile, Louis E. Dieruff can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against East Stroudsburg North, sneaking past 8-6. The Huskies' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Jean Varela and Frawvely Peralta made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Varela tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Peralta pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Varela has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. At the plate, Varela got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run, while Peralta went 1-for-4 with three RBI.
Parkland pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Louis E. Dieruff, their record now sits at 2-9.
Parkland took their victory against Louis E. Dieruff in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 14-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
