Gabe Campbell Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Young Americans Christian got the W thanks in part to Gabe Campbell playing the best football he has all season. Campbell made ten total tackles and defended three passes. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making ten total tackles and defending three passes.
Young Americans Christian's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Campbell's next game is against Community Christian on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Lucas Scheffer was a major factor in Johnson Ferry Christian Academy's win over Fideles Christian on Friday. Scheffer did his part (and then some), throwing for 185 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.3% of his passes, and also rushing for 94 yards on only seven carries for the 'W'.
Fideles Christian's probably not too fond of Scheffer given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Scheffer saw the Rangers), he rushed for 215 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 197 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Matthew Mitchell and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Matthew Mitchell's big game helped extend Pinecrest Academy's winning streak to seven on Friday. Mitchell was unstoppable, rushing for 63 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, while also throwing for 134 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 passes. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Pinecrest Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Mitchell and Pinecrest Academy will face off against Johnson Ferry Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Pinecrest Academy picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Peter Birozes. Nobody could stop Birozes as he made two total tackles. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 57 yards.
