After two games on the road, Shadyside is heading back home. They will take on the Magnolia Blue Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Shadyside only won by two when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 23-point they dealt Frontier on Tuesday. Everything went Shadyside's way against Frontier as Shadyside made off with a 57-34 victory.
Meanwhile, Magnolia didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Wirt County on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 73-67 victory. The win was all the more spectacular given Magnolia's disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 500th, while Wirt County is ranked 72nd).
Shadyside is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Magnolia, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
