Okarche got themselves on the board against Empire on Thursday, but Empire never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Bulldogs. Considering the Warriors have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Okarche has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Empire, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-10.

Okarche does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Empire, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-5 loss against Porter on the 1st.
