The biggest upset of the week belonged to Owen J. Roberts, who took down 277th ranked Owen J. Roberts, 45-28.
Pottsgrove extended the longest winning streak in Pioneer this week by beating Perkiomen Valley, 42-28. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.
Upper Perkiomen's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dylan Wesley threw for 170 and two touchdowns and Travis Kline had 103 yards receiving. On the ground Aidan Schaffer chipped in 249 yards. Ryan Harris helped Upper Perkiomen's passing attack out by catching four balls for 49 yards.
5-foot-10 quarterback Sage Reinhart of Pottstown is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1651. He has also thrown eight touchdowns. On the ground, the Indians' Schaffer has rushed for 1038 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Matt Raymond. The Owen J. Roberts star has 27 catches for 664 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Spring-Ford takes on the Vikings. The Rams are currently in second, while Perkiomen Valley is in third.
Spring-Ford took down the Trojans 55-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Hank Coyne threw for 97 yards and two touchdowns and caught one passes for 11 yards in the win.
