Basketball Recap: Devine Piles Up the Points Against Jones

Devine came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 82-45 victory over the Jones Trojans. The Warhorses have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Devine now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Jones, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Devine will venture away from home to face off against Davenport at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jones, they will head out to take on Tuloso-Midway at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
