It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cedar Ridge had no problem doing just that  on Tuesday. They blew past the South Granville Vikings 3-0. The  win was familiar territory for the Fighting Red Wolves, who have now won six  contests in a row.
 The final score came out to 25-9, 25-16,  25-8.
 Sydnee Tapper was nothing short of spectacular: she  had 15  digs and three  aces. She has been hot recently, having  posted 11 or more  digs the last four times she's  played.  Addilyn Jackson also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
 They weren't the only good servers: Cedar Ridge  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 12  aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Granville only  served six.
Cedar Ridge's record is now 23-1. As for South Granville, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record  this season.
 Cedar Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-0  victory against Western Alamance on the 23rd. South Granville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
