The Grace Christian Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Monterey Wolves at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Grace Christian is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
Grace Christian was handed a 28-point loss in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Grace Christian sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 42-40 victory over the Bulldogs. The victory was just what Grace Christian needed coming off of a 66-38 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Monterey put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Alexandria Country Day 60-22 on the road. The win was just what Monterey needed coming off of a 64-31 loss in their prior matchup.
Grace Christian's record now sits at 10-14. Monterey's record now sits at 13-11.
Grace Christian was dealt a bruising 66-27 loss at the hands of the Wolves when the teams last played back in January. Can Grace Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
