The Ulysses Tigers lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Thursday was a bit more commanding. It was another big night for Bryce Beisner, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds for Beloit. Beisner continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Johnson, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds.
Ulysses' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6. As for Beloit, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ulysses will take on Wichita County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beloit, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sacred Heart at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sacred Heart is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
