Neighborhood House Charter's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tavon Rhodes, who scored 44 points. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Rhodes has scored at least a third of Neighborhood House Charter's points. Juelz McGhee was another key contributor, scoring 24 points.
Prospect Hill Academy's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Neighborhood House Charter, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prospect Hill Academy on the road again on Monday and play against Innovation Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Innovation Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully Prospect Hill Academy likes a good challenge.
