The Hagerman Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 31 points or more this season. They breezed by Twin Falls Christian Academy at home to the tune of 67-36. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hagerman also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Leading Hagerman to victory were Ky Kendall and Martin Gonzalez. Kendall scored 21 points along with five assists and four steals, while Gonzalez dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Kendall has scored at least 25% of Hagerman's points. Alex Johnson was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with three steals.
Hagerman has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Twin Falls Christian Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hagerman has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Richfield at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th. Twin Falls Christian Academy will take on Jackpot at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jackpot's defense has only allowed 28.2 points per game this season, so Twin Falls Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for Twin Falls Christian Academy.
