6A District 1 recap Oct. 30, 2012
Henderson County extended the longest winning streak in 6A District 1 this week by beating Owensboro, 49-21. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Daviess County took down Ohio County 48-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Chase Lecroy ran for 114 yards and caught two passes for 21 yards in the win.
Daviess County's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jared McEwen has thrown for 535 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Blake Roberts has 42 catches for 553 yards. Lecroy leads the league in rushing with 502 yards.
Henderson County led the league in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on the Red Devils.
