Ransom Everglades got a massive performance out of Mason Lastra, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Lastra is becoming a predictor of Ransom Everglades' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 3-4 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Juan Velazco, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and one triple.

Riviera Prep saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Wohl, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.
Ransom Everglades pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Riviera Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
Thursday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Ransom Everglades hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .365. However, it's not like Riviera Prep struggles in that department as they've averaged .340. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
