The Keith Bears waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They breezed by University Charter on the road to the tune of 72-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Keith has posted since December 15, 2023.
Leading Keith to victory were Miles Hannah and Tommy Tisdale III. Hannah scored 16 points, while Tisdale III scored 21 points. Tisdale III is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Titus Lanier, who scored nine points.
Keith has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for University Charter, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-14.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Linden the next time they take the court. Keith will host Linden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while University Charter will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
