The Paoli Pugs managed to keep up with the Oklahoma School for the Deaf Bison until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Paoli ended up on the wrong side of a rough 63-43 walloping at the hands of Oklahoma School for the Deaf. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Paoli has suffered since January 4th.
RyJan Reininger was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 13 rebounds for Oklahoma School for the Deaf. That makes it four consecutive games in which Reininger has scored at least a third of Oklahoma School for the Deaf's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Newell, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Paoli are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15. As for Oklahoma School for the Deaf, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3.
Paoli won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Maysville at 8:00 p.m. on January 30th. Maysville is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Oklahoma School for the Deaf, they will face off against Wisconsin School for the Deaf at TBD on Thursday.
