Richlands came out on top against East Duplin on Wednesday thanks in part to Caleb Simco's efforts. Simco produced his best game of the campaign: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5. He is becoming a predictor of Richlands' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Simco and Richlands will venture away from home to face off against Swansboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Richlands hasn't beaten Swansboro recently, having gone 0-10 since April of 2016.
