The Aldine Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Spring Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aldine is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 13 games.
On Friday, Aldine made easy work of Eisenhower and carried off a 16-2 win. Considering the Mustangs have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

| 04/17/26 vs Eisenhower | 6 |
| 03/05/26 vs Humble | 5 |

Hugo Caballero looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Isaiah Nunez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025. Alexander Martinez was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles.
Aldine always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eisenhower only posted an OBP of .435.
Meanwhile, Spring lost 17-3 to Klein on Saturday. The Lions have struggled against the Bearkats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Spring saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joshua Porter, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
Spring now has a losing record of 14-15. As for Aldine, their record is now 19-5-3.
Aldine came out on top in a nail-biter against Spring in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, sneaking past 3-1. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
