Ringwood played a tough  game  on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt  a  54-8 loss at the hands of the Cherokee Chiefs. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no  points scored by either team from that point forward.
 A big part of Cherokee's  win came down to the chemistry between  Trig Ream and his top target  Creed Patterson. Ream rushed for 196 yards and four  TDs on only five carries while  Patterson rushed for 105 yards and a pair of  scores. Ream's rushing production has been exceptional  recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 108  rushing yards.
Ringwood's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cherokee, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.
 Ringwood has already played their next matchup,  a  62-6  loss against Shattuck on the 10th. As for Cherokee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  contest,  a  64-28  win against Davenport on the 10th.
