The Cortez Colts will head out on the road to  square off against  the Scottsdale Preparatory Academy Spartans  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Cortez will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  points each  matchup than the last.
Cortez will bounce into Friday's   game after  beating Bourgade Catholic, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. The Colts strolled past the Golden Eagles with  points to spare on Friday, taking the game  41-27.
 Cortez didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Bruce Austin and  Anthony. Austin got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
 Scottsdale Preparatory Academy played against NFL Yet Academy on Thursday and won via forfeit.
