Don't be fooled by the insanely high score: we promise Valley and Lubbock Titans were playing football. Lubbock Titans took a 60-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of Valley. Despite the loss, Lubbock Titans saw an underclassman step up: Sophomore Luke Stowers passed for 317 yards and 6 touchdowns. If you haven't heard Stowers's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past three games.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for West Texas Homeschool, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to eight. They were completely outmatched, falling 7-54 to Fort Davis.
Lubbock Titans took the match and then some with a 66-20 win over West Texas Homeschool the last time the two teams met. Will Lubbock Titans repeat their success, or does West Texas Homeschool have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
