Newman hasn't dropped below 15 points for 30 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Stinnett, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Loretto's win bumped their record up to 29-3. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, their defeat dropped their record down to 34-4.
Loretto won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Gibson County at 6:00 p.m. on March 9th. Gibson County will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something Loretto surely won't give up without a fight. Gatlinburg-Pittman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
