McDonough was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Locust Grove only racked up three assists.
Locust Grove's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Jones, who posted nine points. Hamilton Thomas was another key player, putting up nine points and six rebounds.
McDonough has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.
