Softball Recap: Pewaukee Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

Pewaukee never let their opponents score on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 18-0 margin over the Milwaukee Lutheran Red Knights. Considering the Pirates have won four matchups by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Kennedy Tisdale was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Tisdale was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.

In other batting news, Harper Gould was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one double, and one RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Estella Levas was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Pewaukee always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .719. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Pewaukee's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Milwaukee Lutheran, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Pewaukee will take on New Berlin Eisenhower at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Milwaukee Lutheran, they will challenge South Milwaukee at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rockets will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Red Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
