The Providence Prep Rams won the last time they faced the Holy Trinity Catholic Celtics, and things went their way on Saturday too. Providence Prep breezed by Holy Trinity Catholic on the road to the tune of 45-7.
Providence Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lilly Hodge out in front who scored 12 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Hodge has scored at least 25% of Providence Prep's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alice Illian, who scored 8 points along with 4 steals.
Providence Prep now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Holy Trinity Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Providence Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Oglesby at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. Holy Trinity Catholic will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Providence Prep at 3:00 p.m. on December 18th.
