Quincy Gibbs posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 17 batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in nine consecutive appearances.

Gibbs' strong effort led Smithtown Christian over Hampton Bays and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
