Aj Tillman Jr Dazzles in Mcdonough Defeat
Starting off the list is McDonough's Aj Tillman Jr, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Tillman Jr rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also caught a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
McDonough is on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. Tillman Jr and McDonough will take on Eagle's Landing Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Devin Edmonds stepped things up a notch to give Jones County the 'W'. Edmonds was unstoppable, throwing for 258 yards and five touchdowns while completing 79.2% of his passes.
The win made it two in a row for Jones County and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Edmonds and Jones County will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Eagle's Landing at 7:30 p.m. on October 25th.

A Season-Best Performance from Macklin Sanders Leads Ola over Woodland
Macklin Sanders produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Ola to the win on Friday. Sanders wasn't messing around, forcing a fumble and making 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss) in addition to snagging two interceptions which he returned one-yard for a touchdown. The contest was his 12th straight with five or more total tackles dating back to last season.
For the year, Sanders has averaged 13.6 total tackles per game and for the season has 3 interceptions. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 3.43 total tackles per game.

Armond Parker was a major factor in Locust Grove's victory over McDonough on Friday. Parker did his part (and then some), throwing for 441 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.3 yards per attempt for the 'W'.
Parker and Locust Grove will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jones County at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st. Parker will face off against Devin Edmonds, the Greyhounds' star quarterback. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Joshua Scott and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Stockbridge picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Joshua Scott. Scott was dynamite, throwing for 232 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
Stockbridge's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Scott and Stockbridge will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Eagle's Landing Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on October 25th.
