Refugio strolled into their game  on Friday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Freer Buckaroos 63-28. 63 seems to be a good number for the Bobcats as the  team scooped up a  win with the same number of  points in their previous game.
 Refugio had a senior duo take command as  Ray Lewis rushed for 146 yards and three  TDs on only five carries and  Zander Wills rushed for 74 yards and four  touchdowns on only six carries. Lewis is  crushing it when it comes to  rushing touchdowns: he's   punched in at least two every time he's  taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Laytyn Garza, who picked up 70 receiving yards and one  score.
Refugio's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Freer, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 5-3.
 Coincidentally, Refugio and Freer will both be playing Skidmore-Tynan the next time they take the field. The Bobcats will  host the Bobcats at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday, while the Buckaroos will head out to face them  at 7:30  p.m.  on  the 7th.
