While Coral Glades's win against Cooper City wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Jaguars narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Cowboys 7-5. That's more bragging rights for the Jaguars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Coral Glades let Cloevens Challenger and Brayden Hoskins run wild. Challenger scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Hoskins scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. That's the most hits Challenger has posted since back in February. Shawn Whoriskey also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Coral Glades has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Cooper City, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8.

Coral Glades wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-1 victory against Monarch on the 9th. Cooper City has also already played their next matchup (against Cypress Bay), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
