The Parkview Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Monday after their fifth straight  loss. They fell to Central  44-40. Parkview was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in February of 2023.
 Parkview's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Brooklynn Haines, who  dropped  a double-double on 11 points and 12  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Haines has scored all season.  Brooklynn Masten was another key contributor,  scoring 14 points along with six  rebounds and three  steals.
 Parkview's defeat was  their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Central, their victory  ended a 15-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 1-15.
 Parkview will  challenge the Zizzers at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. West Plains presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Vikings in Missouri (the Zizzers are ranked 32nd, while the Vikings are ranked 371st). As for Central, they will be playing at home against the Yellowjackets at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
